Shiba Inu To Launch Shib Names
D3 Global, an official identity service for Web3 communities, revealed in an X post on Monday that the Shiba Inu ecosystem is preparing to release Shib Names, a personalized top-level domain name for Shiba Inu users. This would enable Shiba Inu enthusiasts and investors to adopt a unique domain name that effectively portrays their Shib identity and can be used across a diverse range of platforms, including online stores and Web3 dApps.
D3 disclosed that the launch would take place in partnership with Shib Token, one of Shiba Inu’s X communities. Presently, several Shiba Inu community members have indicated that they have paid for their customizable Shib names. In response, D3 mentioned that following the launch, users will have the opportunity to link their wallets and upgrade their Shib Names through its platform.
