Was checking the last few blocks on mempool.space and it seems that the last 52 minutes added 9 newly mined blocks, which is obviously way faster than the average of 10 minutes/block.
So, I wonder what the implications are, and what typically causes it? Does it mean that there are more new unmined transactions being broadcast so that the block space (4MB) is filling up rapidly? Or more mining resources->higher hash rate->higher mining rate? Some combination of this?
What does it mean for the network’s security, resilience and decentralisation? Is it a good or bad sign in that case?
I am a noob, so some of the terms I am using above may not be totally accurate (I am happy to stand corrected), but hope you get the gist of the question.
