Beeple Set to Host an NFT Event “CryptoPunks Meetup” on Aug 09

The global non-fungible token market has shown signs of a significant recovery, rising in nearly all metrics. Specifically, the market capitalization has risen to $6.6 billion, reaching its highest level since early February 2025. In response to this surge, Beeple, a renowned digital artist, has prepared a non-fungible token event to celebrate the NFT market resurgence. The NFT event is slated to happen next weekend.

CryptoPunks Meetup 2.0 Is Coming Next Weekend

In a July 29 blog post, Mike Joseph Winkelmann, known professionally as Beeple, confirmed plans to host CryptoPunks Meetup 2.0 this coming month. By description, CryptoPunks Meetup 2.0 is the second community NFT event focused on the CryptoPunks NFT project. Punks is a globally acknowledged non-fungible token collection featuring a fixed set of 10,000 pixilated NFTs hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network.

The highly anticipated NFT event, which is open to the public, will feature live art, trivia, prizes, a community artist showcase, and opportunities to connect with other NFT enthusiasts. Attendees will also get an opportunity to discuss with prominent NFT community members, including the founders of CryptoPunks, and learn about new perspectives and trends in the space. CryptoPunks NFT collections were created by Matt Hall and John Watkinson, the co-founders of the creative and digital asset incubation studio, Larva Labs.

The NFT event “CryptoPunks Meetup 2.0” will be hosted by Beeples Studios, a 50,000 square foot digital art facility serving as a base for his work, exhibitions, events, and a hub for the Web3 and digital art community. This NFT event will be a gathering for CryptoPunks NFT holders and all those interested in NFTs, fostering a sense of community and connection. CryptoPunks Meetup 2.0 will happen at Charleston Regional Pkwy, Charleston, SC 29492, United States.

Beeple is a renowned American digital artist, graphic designer, and animator known for selling non-fungible token collections.
