I have an AWS EC2 instance. The instance has Bitcoin Core (Testnet) node and a LND node. It is working fine. Now, I want to install another LND on a different EC2 instance, but connect it to the same Bitcoin Core node. I tried opening the RPC ports and modified the LND config file of the new node with rpchost pointing to the first node. When I launch LND on the new node, it hangs after opening the wallet. Any ideas as how to configure this?

bitcoin.conf:

testnet=1
server=1
txindex=1
rpcallowip=0.0.0.0/0
rpcbind=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=XXXXX
rpcpassword=XXXXXX
datadir=/home/ubuntu/.bitcoin/data
conf=/home/ubuntu/.bitcoin/bitcoin.conf
daemon=1
keypool=2048
paytxfee=0.0007
zmqpubrawblock=tcp://127.0.0.1:28332
zmqpubrawtx=tcp://127.0.0.1:28333

lnd.conf:

[Application Options]
externalip=XX.166.28.15X <--- Public elastic IP of the LN node ..
alias=xxxxxx
[Bitcoin]
bitcoin.active=1
bitcoin.testnet=1
bitcoin.node=bitcoind
[Bitcoind]
bitcoind.rpchost=xx.88.241.yyyy <--- Public elastic IP of bitcoin-core instance
rpcuser=XXXXX
rpcpassword=XXXXXX
bitcoind.zmqpubrawblock=tcp://127.0.0.1:28332
bitcoind.zmqpubrawtx=tcp://127.0.0.1:28333
