Almost seventeen years ago, on November 2nd ,2008, Kabosu joined Sato’s family. On her first day, Kabosu sat quietly in the corner of the room, visibly scared, motionless, and silent. Her big, round eyes looked at her new owner with a mix of curiosity and nervousness. Undoubtedly, this moment marked the beginning of a beautiful bond between Kabosu and her Mama.
In another post, Kabosu Mama describes a night where she and Kabosu shared a special moment. “I’ve got this one memory, a night where it was just me and Kabosu. We didn’t do much; we just sat there quietly, reflecting on our day or maybe nothing. She wrote that those silent moments with her meant the world to me”, she wrote.
After sixteen years of joy and love, Sato announced Kabosu’s death on May 24, 2024 , through her blog and social media. Sato expressed that Kabosu “crossed the rainbow bridge” peacefully in the morning, surrounded by love, as Sato petted her.
