It’s been a few years since BIP370 was proposed. It’s a backwards compatible change to the PSBT standard defined by BIP174. It’s main benefit is the ability to add new inputs and outputs to a transaction.
Bitcoin Core pull request #21283 implements support, but has seen very little review so far. This could indicate a lack of demand for PSBTv2 in general. Or perhaps it’s used widely, just without Bitcoin Core.
