Mad Lads NFT Creator ‘Backpack’ Launches Bomber Jacket

Coral, the blockchain company behind the Backpack crypto exchange and the Mad Lads non-fungible token collection, has introduced luxury Bomber jackets. The Backpack CEX creator will leverage the Mad Lads brand to print their luxury jackets. Coral joins leading NFT firms, such as the Bored Ape Yacht and Pudgy Penguins creators, which have also launched branded products.

Mad Lads Launches Luxury Bomber Jackets

In an April 21 blog post, Coral, through its Backpack x account, confirmed the launch of the Mad Lads Bomber Jackets. These Mad Lads-branded jackets appear in different sizes: small, medium, large, and extra-large. The Mad Lads bomber pre-sale is currently live until May 05, 2025. The Mad Lads NFT holders can pre-order bomber jackets on the Shopify marketplace.

Launched sometime in 2022, Coral is a renowned blockchain development company developing Backpack, a crypto wallet and platform for Web3. Backpack allows crypto users to store tokens and NFTs, view executable NFTs, access applications for buying, listing, or staking, and browse previously unused applications. They’re also known for the Anchor development framework used on the Solana blockchain.

Coral is also the team behind the Mad Lads NFT collection. Launched on April 20, 2023, Mad Lads is a non-fungible token collection featuring a limited set of 10,000 hosted on the Solana blockchain network. Armani Ferrante and Tristan Yver created the Mad Lads NFT project. Ferrante is currently the CEO of Coral. Yver is the CTO of Coral, who also serves as lead developer for the Mad Lads NFT collection. Mad Lads NFT celebrated its two-year birthday yesterday, April 20, 2025.

Mad Lads Joins Azuki In The Jacket Market

Mad Lads is not the first non-fungible token project to launch jackets. In July 2022, the Azuki NFT team launched the Azuki Twin Tigers jackets, inspired by the ‘Sukajan’ jackets, a classic style that goes as far back as the 1940s. The Azuki Twin Jacket featured a blue side with a hand chainstitch. They also had a chenille embroidered tiger and embroidered details on the chest and arms. Since then, many NFT projects, including Yuga Labs, have also launched jackets and caps.
