What Is Ghost In The Shell?

The legendary Ghost in the Shell is an adult animated tech noir cyberpunk action thriller movie directed by movie actor and animator Mamoru Oshii in 1989. Several years later, the action movie gained massive traction and became a hit sci-fi movie based on a popular manga series. It has since been adapted into a series of video games, multiple anime series, and live-action movies.

Animoca Brands anticipates leveraging the new non-fungible token technology to bring the legendary anime movie back to life. The upcoming Ghost In The Shell-based NFTs will be built using the Ethereum protocol’s popular ERC-721 NFT standard. The NFT collection will launch on SORAH, an NFT marketplace from Animoca Brands focused on connecting Web3 users in Japan and other parts of the world. The firm will release 500 NFTs, each selling for 0.018 ETH.
