It all started half a year ago. Bitcoin Core version 22.0 began to hang on a certain date during the next synchronization attempt. I demolished the entire blockchain. I downloaded version 27.1, started syncing with wallet from August 2024, and the issue was resolved. But the situation repeated on February 2, 2025. When trying to download the last Bitcoin Core blocks, it froze on December 31, 2024. Repeated attempts to restart failed. I started the “reindex”, it hung after a while. Then I decided to repeat the successful attempt: I demolished everything. I launched version 27.1 and uploaded the wallet from August 2024. But this time the program was suspended for January 2019. I’m currently downloading the blockchain without loading my wallet. Is there any hope in it? So I want to wait for full synchronization and then download the wallet. What could be the reason? The computer where the wallet is located has a 2-core processor, 8GB of RAM and a 2 terabyte hard disk.
