Pudgy Penguins Launches A Short Security Course For NFT Users

Hackers and scammers show no signs of stopping attacks against crypto and non-fungible token investors. Day to day, they are getting smarter, and their tricks are even becoming more complex to spot than ever before. In response to this rapidly growing menace, Igloo Inc., the digital asset incubation studio and the team behind the globally acknowledged Pudgy Penguins non-fungible token collection, has introduced an online security course for its users.

Pudgy Penguins NFT Team Launches A Security Class

In an April 24 site publication, the Pudgy Penguins NFT creator announced plans to host an online security class on April 26, 2025, at 8:00 PM EST. The Pudgy Penguins NFT team has partnered with the Boring Security, a renowned decentralized autonomous organization providing the web3 users free security awareness classes. This security DAO also tracks scam and hack trends in the Web3 sector.

Revealed in June 2024, Igloo Inc. is a digital asset incubation studio and cartoon toys brand. The NFT company is renowned for launching some of the leading NFT collections, including Pudgy Penguins, a non-fungible token collection featuring a fixed set of 8,888 cute penguins hosted on the Ethereum network, and Lil Pudgy, a non-fungible token collection featuring a limited edition of 22,222 NFT items originating from Pudgy Penguins.

Earlier this year, the Pudgy Penguins’ parent company launched its Layer 2 network, Abstract Chain. Pudgy Penguins’ Abstract is a zero-knowledge (ZK) L2 built on the Ethereum blockchain network. This network was built using the ZK stack, a standardized and open-source development solution for ZK rollups built by ZKsync, which gives it interesting superpowers.

Moreover, the Abstract L2 network is Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible (EVM), allowing developers to seamlessly migrate their smart contracts from other EVM-compatible blockchain networks. In addition, the Abstract Layer Two network submits validity proofs to the Ethereum mainnet, proving and authenticating the validity of the crypto and NFT transactions on the network.

Besides managing NFTs and selling NFT-inspired toy collections across the globe, the digital assets firm also features an NFT coin called $PENGU. Launched in December 2024, $PENGU is the native utility token of the Pudgy Penguins ecosystem, operating primarily on the Solana blockchain network. The $PENGU token fosters community growth, supports public initiatives, and ensures long-term project sustainability.

Pudgy Penguins’ Security Course Explained

Under the recent integration, the Pudgy Penguins NFT team anticipates leveraging the Boring Security DAO’s security knowledge and capability to enlighten its crypto and non-fungible token users. This coming Saturday, April 24, 2025, the Pudgy Penguins have prepared a Solana Security Class. After taking this Solana 101 Course, students will massively acquire some knowledge about: How Solana blockchain works and how to navigate explorers, staying safe in Solana, differences from other chains, scams and tools unique to the Solana blockchain network.
