Sony Pictures Entertainment, a multi-national mass media, entertainment studio, and digital asset investor, has launched the second edition of its “The Seven Deadly Sins” non-fungible token collection. The entertainment conglomerate continues diving deeper into the non-fungible token despite the recent market downturn, which has held the daily trading sales volume below $20 million and floor price values below 45 ETH.

Established in 1987, Sony Pictures Entertainment is a diversified multinational mass media and entertainment studio conglomerate that produces, acquires, and distributes filmed entertainment products, including animated series, television programs, and recorded videos, through multiple platforms. The entertainment company is renowned for creating some of the popular movie films, including “The Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” Venom, “Venom: Let There Be Carnage,” and Spider-Man III.

In April 2021, Netflix and Sony Pictures Entertainment signed a deal in which Sony’s theatrical releases became available on Netflix within six months of their theatrical release, marking a significant pay-one-window agreement. The five-year deal gave the streaming giant Netflix the exclusive U.S. rights to Sony’s films, including ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ TV series, once they leave theaters and premium video-on-demand services.

Released in 2014, “The Seven Deadly Sins” is an iconic Japanese anime television series based on the manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki. The story of the Seven Deadly Sins surrounds a group of warriors who were wrongly accused of a crime they didn’t commit and went on a quest to vindicate themselves. The TV series was one of the best-selling anime TV series on Netflix, with over 55 million copies sold around the world.

In March 2025, the Sony Pictures Entertainment company partnered with Yoake, a Japanese pop culture protocol focused on bringing entertainment to the masses, to tokenize “The Seven Deadly Sins,” a TV series, as a non-fungible token collection. The NFT collection, titled “YOAKE & The Seven Deadly Sins Anime Series,” was launched on OpenSea, one of the largest NFT market platforms. The NFT collection was powered by Soneium, a blockchain network from Sony Pictures. The network ensured a seamless and secure trading experience for fans and collectors.

‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ 2nd NFT Edition

The Sony Pictures Entertainment company and Yoake are back with another non-fungible token collection, still inspired by The Seven Deadly Sins TV Series. The new NFT series titled “Yoake & The Seven Deadly Sin Anime Series with Ban” is now live for minting on the OpenSea NFT marketplace. This NFT collection has a limited set of 3218 NFT items hosted on the Sonieum blockchain network. It has the best offer of 0.0022 ETH per NFT collection.
