If you’re not in the know, Zcash has all the motion right now and is up 359.4% over the past month, and with that comes the familiar comparison of Zcash versus Monero. These are the twin pillars of crypto privacy ,and while ZEC is rising, Monero has barely moved an inch. Can all of this change for a coin people say has the best privacy in Web3?

This ZEC pump feels too inorganic. Just a few people telling others to buy. Again, it has existed for almost a decade. Monero is a better privacy coin. This is all just kind of nonsense.

In truth, it does seem like this pump isn’t sustainable, but when you do have OG Zcash whales like Cobie and Naval swapping their BTC for Zcash, it does make you wonder if ZEC is about to be a top 10 mainstay.
ZEC does nothing, literally nothing, for years, and many on the XMR side argue that crypto insiders needed a big pump, which they found through ZEC.
You might make some money. You might get rugged. But when it comes to privacy, they argue Monero is still the best. We at 99Bitcoins seem to agree, but maybe it doesn’t matter “what’s more private” but what has the best balance between liquidity, exposure, and, of course, privacy.

Will Zcash Hit $10,000?
Zcash Corporation is very open about working with the White House, so we wouldn’t be surprised if they receive side injections to maintain the volume at 1k or higher.
This is where Monero failed. They never made any effort to appeal to CEX liquidity, and when it was time to find a winner for privacy coins, institutions literally COULD NOT INVEST IN MONERO. LOL, lmao even.
The XMR community basically cucked itself out of being relevant for all time because Zcash hitting 1k will permanently flip it, and while people will always convert into XMR for drugs/crime/etc, it will never be considered valuable with Zcash above it. This is a problem that the community desperately needs to fix.
